Covid 19 Safety Measures


At all times our obligation as persons operating a business is to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, that the workplace is free from risks to health and safety.

AMBIENT HEATING SOLUTIONS LTD have adopted government advice and guidelines in order to safeguard our customers, staff and engineers.


Prior to our engineer’s visit customers will be asked if anyone at the service address is currently experiencing any of the symptoms of the virus this includes cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, high temperature, etc.
Please let us know if you have travelled internationally within the last 14 days or visited a highly impacted area whether in the UK or abroad.

It is essential to maintain social distancing at all times and where possible allow our engineer to work in isolation.
Finally, it is imperative to inform AMBIENT HEATING SOLUTIONS LTD should anyone at the service address display symptoms of the virus within 14 days of our engineer’s visit.


We regularly review our safety procedures based on most current government advice. We ensure our staff and engineers fully understand safe working practices and personal hygiene including use of face masks and hand sanitising.
Our engineers wear gloves but, in some circumstances, the wearing of a face mask can make working extremely difficult. For this reason, we would request customers allow our engineers to work in isolation.
We would wish to minimise contact with household items and furniture not related to the work to be undertaken by our engineers by requesting working areas are cleared before our engineer’s visit.
We will not visit clients’ homes even if they display mild symptoms of the virus but rather reschedule our visit when the home isolation period has ended.

Our engineers will enter a period of quarantine if they, their family or acquaintances demonstrate symptoms of the virus or have been potentially exposed whilst working, or have been with someone suspected or confirmed as having coronavirus/COVID-19.

Finally, we maintain full records of dates works are performed, addresses, client name and contact details should contact tracing for COVID-19 be necessary.
